Woman Taken Out of Man

Woman, taken out of man,
as Adam dreaming slept,
From Adam: Eve, Creator’s plan,
drawn from within his depth

Man, taken out of woman
as Mary pondering kept
inside her heart, her depth within
as baby Jesus slept.

John’s poetry ranges across themes of nostalgia, religion and spirituality, family and friendship, struggle, history, love and humor.
